Company Standards

The steady growing of surfaces cultivated according to organic and biodynamic agriculture have broadened the official standards. For this reason we have decided to adopt internal company standards for production and processing that are more specific and stricter than the rules from the EU Organic Farming Regulation (2092/91/EEC).

The inspection is carried out by the external inspection and certification body ICEA that grants a certificate every year that proves the company’s good practice.

These company standards include:

1. Three compulsory company inspections by ICEA;

2. Exclusive use of all company equipment for organic farming only;

3. At least one annual produce and soil analysis to verify pollutants or improper use of forbidden products;

4. Analysis of our final products for pollutants or forbidden chemicals;

5. The processing of our products is regulated and inspected and all chemical products are excluded from processing work (except from sulphur in the winemaking process);

6. Various other rules concerning all production processes.

Our company has always had clean results in the inspections and analyses and has always met all the requirements.
